Now HLL HINDLABS – MRI & CT Scans at Thiruvananthapuram Public can avail scanning facilities at 60% discount
Thiruvananthapuram, Sept 11: After successfully establishing and revolutionizing market rates at MRI Scan facilities at Kozhikode, Thrissur, Alappuzha and Kottayam, HLL – HINDLABS facility will be available for the natives of Thiruvananthapuram and nearby districts from Wednesday.
Minister for Health and Social Justice Smt. K.K Shailaja Teacher and Minister for Devaswom and Tourism and Co- Operation Shri Kadakamapally Surendran will inaugurate the MRI and CT Scan Centre, respectively.
Scanning facilities for patients will be offered at an attractive discount rate of 60 per cent as HINDLABS, an initiative of HLL Lifecare Limited (HLL), makes functional its MRI and CT scan units at the Sree Avittom Thirunal (SAT) Hospital on September 13 said Mr. R.P.Khandelwal CMD, HLL. In addition to the discount, 10% of BPL patients will be offered scans free of cost at HINDLABS.
The new HINDLABS center with an investment of Rs. 11.30 Crores is equipped with 1.5 Tesla MRI scan machines, and CT Scan, with 128 slices, will provide essential diagnostic services to the patients of Medical College Hospital, SAT, Regional Cancer Centre (RCC), Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST) and other outpatients. These machines help in providing reliable test results in a comparatively shorter time.
